Recycling in my home town, Yakima.

I’m going to try to make a big fat list of places to recycle and not just paper and cardboard.


Nobody takes plastic anymore which sucks coconuts, but we can still try to do what we can to reduce waste!


***Due to the Covid virus happening right now, I'm not 100% positive all of these are still operating normally at the moment.







This newspaper bin is in the Yakima Battery parking lot off of Fruitvale Blvd.


















DLC Recycling is located at 404 E Arlington St.














The Union Gospel Mission has tons of big green bins for recycling cardboard in the back, but the sign says they recycle more. Must investigate further.






Central Washington Recycling is open Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm and they leave bins here on the corner for paper and cardboard.

The address is 102 N 2nd Ave.

Clothing Donation bin at Flightline Mini Mart off of Washington Ave.

























Wesley United Methodist Church off of 48th and Chestnut has lots of bins for newspaper, cardboard, shredded paper, tin cans, and aluminum cans.
